Make sure you watch the intro animation to Park a Lot, as it's a very atmospheric and entertaining start to this fun parking game. You play the part of the appropriately named Parker, and you've just been given a new job. You're in charge of a parking lot, and a steady stream of customers will come along to have you park their cars. You'll need to keep track of who owns which car by means of the unique number assigned to each one. Why? Because, after a while, they'll come back - and when they do, they'll want the right car returned to them!

It's a good idea to take a moment to review the controls in this game, as they're quite complex. As well as the four arrow keys to move you around, you can also hit the space bar to jam on the brakes. To get out of the car, use the backspace key. That's not all, however - if you need to move a car, you'll need to use the mouse to drag the removal hook over to it. That will cost you some of your precious time, though, so try to arrange things so that you don't need it too often!

There are three levels in Park a Lot, and in level 1, you must park 10 cars. Your time ticker will increase if you succeed in returning a car correctly to its owner, but there are a number of ways in which you can lose time, too. If you bump a car, that will do it. So it will if you block off the parking lot's entrance. Finally, if the waiting line gets too long, you'll also be penalized. Don't let your losses get out of hand, because if the timer reaches zero, you'll be summoned to see your boss!
