Parking Flash is a nice little parking game, and one that is particularly pleasingly designed. It doesn't offer any gimmicks or strange special features, but what it does have is enjoyable and addicting to play. Following in the best traditions of the parking game genre, this one sees you in the role of a driver, entering a succession of crowded parking lots, and attempting to maneuver your vehicle into its proper space. You look over the playing area from an overhead point of view, which allows you to tell at a glance how close you are to completing the current level.

Control of your car is achieved with five keys. The four cursor arrows are the main controls, and these allow you to steer your car, and to move it forward and backward. If you're already stopped, then pressing the down arrow will start to move your car in reverse. Be careful, as it can be very tricky to steer accurately when you're reversing! The other control is the space bar, which is used to let the game know that you have finished the level. Press it as soon as you are correctly parked, at which point you will be shown your score, and allowed to proceed further in the game.

There's quite a tight time restriction to be aware of in Parking Flash. Even the very first level only gives you 30 seconds to reach your assigned space, and if you fail to get there in time, you'll lose a life. Since the car in this game has quite a lot of inertia, and takes a while to get up to speed, you'll have to plan your movements with care. It's not required that you park your car absolutely perfectly to complete a level - but the more crooked it is, the fewer points you will receive. Don't hesitate too long!
