For a taste of the exotic in a parking game, try your hand at Bombay Taxi. As the game's name suggests, this one is set in India, and sees you helping to assist Pakya, a hard-working taxi driver in the city who is having a spot of trouble finding a good parking space for his car. All you have to do is to use the four arrow keys to maneuver Pakya's car, and get into the proper space before your time runs out. If you need to slam on the brakes in a hurry, you can accomplish this by pressing the space bar.

When you start the game, you'll be given a choice of four cars to drive. These are all pretty similar, but it's nice to feel you're personalizing the game just a little. You'll then be placed in the parking lot, and shown a top-down view of the action. At this point, your job begins! Carefully steer your car into its designated spot, without hitting anything. Make sure you do this at a reasonable speed, though, since the timer dial at the top left of the screen will be steadily counting down, and if it reaches zero before you're parked properly, you'll lose the game.

There are no fewer than 20 levels in Bombay Taxi, and you can select whichever one you want to attempt from the main menu, so you should be kept occupied for quite some while. As you would probably expect, the early stages are pretty straightforward, and if you have any experience at all in this genre, you should be able to breeze through them. However, later on things get very tricky indeed, with much tighter parking spaces to maneuver into. On these higher levels, there are even moving barriers and even Indian sacred cows to avoid!
