Description:
In Car Park Challenge, your aim is the same as in many other parking games - to find the right space for your car, and to park accurately in it. However, this time around, the game is set in the car park of a supermarket. Why does that matter, you may ask? Simple - because it means that there will be obstacles moving around in your way, namely abandoned supermarket trolleys. You'll have to avoid those, and get yourself parked correctly in a legal space, before the countdown timer reaches zero, otherwise you won't be going much further!
This game has a nice little touch at the start, in that you can choose the color of your car. Okay, so there's no actual difference between how a purple car responds to your input and how a yellow one does, but it's still good to have this little personal touch available. Once you've made your choice, and entered your name in the box at the bottom of the menu screen, it's on to the game itself. Watching the scene from above, you must control your vehicle by means of the four arrow keys: left and right steer the car, while up and down control your speed.
There's quite a lot for you to keep track of while playing Car Park Challenge. As well as the trolleys that glide around, there are also moving stars. These, however, you do want to touch, as doing so will give you a points bonus. Keep an eye on the damage meter at the bottom of the screen, since if that reaches 100% you will write off your car, and the game will end. If you successfully complete a level, you'll be shown your score, as well as a short informative text giving you some details on the causes of real-life collisions.
