Description:
Car Parking Challenge is a parking game with a funky flavor. At least, that's the impression it gives when you fire it up, what with its cheerful music and the opportunity to customize your car, by coloring it anything from yellow to pink. Your job is to guide your car into its assigned parking space before the timer runs out - though you can't rush this job, as damaging the car - or indeed anyone else's car! - is not a recommended course of action. Make sure you watch out for moving walkers, too - hitting them won't do your score any good, either.
The playing area in this game is pretty large, and even in level 1, you'll find that it's larger than the screen. Luckily, the display will scroll automatically as you drive, meaning that your car is always shown in the center, and all you have to do is to concentrate on keeping your vehicle running smoothly. You can use the four arrow keys to control your car, with the left and right keys steering you in the appropriate direction, and the up and down keys altering your speed, or shifting you from forward to reverse gear if necessary.
Car Parking Challenge is relatively generous with your lives - you get 10 of them to start with - but that doesn't mean you can relax, as even the slightest touch of an obstacle will remove one of them. However, your car remains where it is, rather than being placed back at the start position, so sometimes it can be worth the gamble of deliberately losing a life, in order to get to the parking space within the time limit. This game is a lot of fun, though you can't turn the music off, so make sur you're careful where you play it!
