If you've played the Parking Perfection series of parking games, you should have a good idea of what Docking Perfection - which comes from the same design team - is all about. You've managed to strike it rich, and have splashed out on a stylish speedboat. However, the marina is a busy place, so navigating to the correct mooring point is not all plain sailing! Maneuvering a boat is not the same as doing it in a car, for a number of reasons, including the craft's slower reactions due to water resistance.

Before each level begins, the game will display a short instruction sheet, on which it will be explained what you have to do in order to complete the stage. You'll also be given the time limit you must stay inside. This is absolutely vital to bear in mind, as a 60 second time limit can seem long before you begin, but once you're out there on the water, you can quickly realize that it's a very tough challenge indeed! You can control your boat by using the arrow keys - left and right to control the rudder, and thereby steer the boat, and up and down to adjust your speed.

Docking Perfection is a pretty unforgiving game when it comes to collision detection. If you damage even one other boat, or crash even once into the jetty, then that's the end of your game - there are no extra lives to cushion your fall here! It's also tricky because, after level 1, water currents come into play, meaning that your boat will move even when you're not touching its controls at all. That does make the feeling of fulfillment when you finally beat a level all the better, though! Just make sure you remember - get this one wrong, and you'll be sunk!
