Violet Parking takes you back into the distant past, all the way back to prehistoric times, in fact! In this amusing parking game, you play the part of Dum Dum, a young valet for one of the town's most popular restaurants. As the customers come along, they will leave their cars for you to park - with strict instructions that they must on no account be damaged! After their meals, these customers will return, and expect you to extract their cars safely from the parking lot, and return them to the exit. They won't want to wait too long, though, so a time limit is in operation.
The controls in this particular game are extremely simple, with only four to remember. The right and left arrow keys will steer a car in the corresponding direction, the up key will increase its speed, and the down key will put on the brakes. You can also use the down key to move from forward into reverse gear, which can come in very handy for some of those tight turns! Slight damage to a car won't end the level instantly, but if the damage meter reaches the critical level, you're likely to be in big trouble, as will be the case if you let the timer run down.
Violet Parking has a really fun atmosphere about it, thanks to some well designed and amusing graphics, interesting level design, and a catchy musical soundtrack. It's well worth waiting to watch the animated cut scenes before each level begins, and taking a moment to admire the attractive appearance of the game. Of course, you should not let any of that distract you from your central job, as otherwise you may well find customers becoming a little angry - and if that happens, you may not be very popular with your boss!
