There are many parking games around, but Park My Boat is something rather different - as it takes place on water! You've obtained a stylish speedboat, but the marina is pretty crowded, so you'll have to show plenty of skill and accuracy to get it into its proper mooring spot. Boats don't respond to your controls in quite the same way that cars do, so a little caution will be needed if you're new to boat parking games. The main difference is that you have to plan your movements in advance, as steering is somewhat less responsive.
Even if you've never played a boat parking game before, there's no need to worry about learning the controls, as they're very easy to remember. The up and down arrow keys will accelerate and decelerate, and the left and right keys will shift the rudder to the respective direction, thereby steering the boat. The only other key to memorize is the space bar, which has a dual function. It can be used to sound your boat's horn - or, if you're feeling in a rather more aggressive mood, you can use it to fire your weapon! Just make sure the harbor master doesn't see you...
Park My Boat has a great feel to it, with atmospheric background music and sound effects, and cartoon-style graphics that emphasize how much fun it is to go sailing. Of course, that doesn't mean you can relax completely, as you only have three lives to play with, and every time you hit something you shouldn't, one of those lives will disappear. Lose all three, and it's game over. You also have to keep a close watch on the timer, which ticks away in the corner of the game screen. Again, if that runs out, you're going to be in big trouble!
