Parking Lot 3 is another entry in this popular series of parking games. It's quite a polished game, and should be a good deal of fun to play. As you'd expect, the basic object of the game is to maneuver your car into its designated parking slot. Naturally, things aren't quite that easy - you have to complete each level against the clock, and without hitting any obstacles. If you run out of time, or if you cause too much damage to your vehicle, then you will lose one of your three lives - and if you lose all three lives, it's game over.
One very welcome feature of this game is its excellent help system. Make sure you take a look at the instructions screen, which is accessible from the main menu, before you start the game, as it contains a lot of useful information. If you've played other parking games, you should find most of this familiar, but there are a few things that are different. For example, as well as using the standard cursor keys to control your car, you can also press the space bar to activate the hand brake. As is usually the case with this genre of games, you view the action from on top.
Parking Lot 3 also has a detailed information box that pops up right before each level, explaining exactly what you have to do in order to succeed. You're much more likely to beat a level if you've read this carefully. This goes double on later levels, as extra obstacles such as potholes are added to the mix. You can get away with minor damage to your car, which just affects your health bar, but if you hit too many obstacles, then you're going to be in big trouble. Keep a cool head, and control your car with both speed and accuracy to succeed.
