Description:

There's nothing shy and retiring about S.O.S, which stands for Save All Soldiers. From the pounding music to the military-style graphics, it's obvious from the very start that this is going to be something rather unlike the usual run of parking games. You're in the army now, and instead of a normal sedan, you're in charge of an armored Hummer! This might make things seem easy, since those vehicles are so tough that they can go almost anywhere... but in some ways it actually makes your task harder, as you need to remind yourself that you're not invulnerable!

As would seem fitting for a military-themed game, in this one you are given orders for your mission before you start each level. It's very important that you read these carefully, noting any specific orders you may have been given to work in a particular fashion. Then, once you have acknowledged your commanding officer's words, you can get cracking with carrying out your duties. These will vary from mission to mission, but you might be told to drive to a certain spot and park up, so that a nearby comrade can come out of hiding. Then, you'd have to pick him up, and get out fast!

The Hummer handles as you'd expect a vehicle like that to - it's rather slow to get moving, but once it's underway, it's nearly unstoppable. However, that word "nearly" is important! You can get away with smashing up a car or two, or maybe a static barrier, but if you simply try to drive through everything in your path, you're likely to find the game coming to an abrupt halt as an explosion shakes your vehicle! Three hits will be enough to bring your challenge to an end, soldier, so obey your orders with speed, but also with care and precision.
