Description:

Towing Mania is a slightly left-field take on the popular parking game genre. In this one, you are the driver of a breakdown truck, and you must deal with your stranded clients by hooking up their cars, then towing them back to the pound. Once you get there, you'll be required to unhitch the cars, in the appropriate place, in order to continue the game. If you damage either your truck or a client's car, you will lose one of your three lives - and if they all disappear, then the dreaded Game Over messages will appear, so beware!

Steering your tow truck is pretty easy, in that you just need to use the left and right arrow keys to move it in the relevant direction, the up key to speed up, and the down key to slow down. Not too difficult, huh? But in this game, there are a couple more controls you need to learn. Pressing X will hook up, or unhook, a car to your truck. The space bar is for those little emergencies when you need to slam on the brakes in a hurry - though be careful with this, as it's quite easy to get it wrong and crash anyway!

You definitely feel your brain heating up a little when you play Towing Mania, because there are a few extra things to think about, compared to a regular parking game. The trickiest part is likely to be backing your tow truck perfectly to the stranded car, without actually hitting it! You'll also need to remember that a truck with a car hooked up on the back will handle differently to one driving on its own. These extra features, together with some clear and colorful graphics, make this a very enjoyable game that will definitely test your driving skills.
