Do you feel like doing a spot of time traveling? Are you also in the mood to become a car thief? If so, then Vintage Carbon will let you combine the two! In this game, you take on the persona of an old-time criminal, trying to steal cars from the garages of the richest and most prestigious people and families from around the world. You may choose to rob the British royal family's garage, or to sneak around inside the collection belonging to the Persian ruler. Alternatively, you can try your hand at theft from an Indian maharajah.

Since what you are doing is illegal, it is extremely important that you remain very quiet. If you bump any of the cars, the alarms will go off at once, and your life of crime will end up in jail! You'll need to be very careful with the controls, too. You use the four arrow keys to maneuver any car you take, with right and left steering the car in the relevant direction, and up and down increasing or decreasing your speed. The space bar activates the garage lights - they go out after a certain period of time - and rapidly clicking the mouse will refuel the car.

As you'd probably expect, level 1 of Vintage Carbon is pretty easy, so you can concentrate on getting away as fast as you can. Once you complete a level, you'll be shown your score, and if you've finished quickly, there will likely be a substantial time bonus, too. Later stages are a lot trickier - you may have to drive over certain points to activate gates, or avoid obstacles strewn across the floor. Keep an eye on the countdown timer, as well as your fuel meter, and you'll increase your chances of getting away with your dastardly crime!
